Magento - Price Per Customer - Extension User Guide

1. Store Backup.

• Go to System > Tools > Backups.
• Backup your magento files by clicking on the button System Backup.
• Backup your database by clicking on the button Database Backup.

2. Log out of Admin.

3. Unpack the extension file downloaded from our site and upload the contents of the file to the root directory of your magento installation.

4. Log back in to Admin.

5. Clear Cache: Go to System > Cache Management. Click on the Flush Cache button to clear all cache.

6. If compilation is enabled, turn it off under System > Tools > Compilation.

• Go to System > Tools > Compilation.
• Click on the Disable button to disable compilation.
• You can switch it back on once you've installed the extension.

7. If you see a 404 error on your configuration page. Please log out of the admin and log back in.

• Enabled: Select Yes to enable showing customer level prices, if applicable. Select No to disable the extension. Enabling/Disabling can be done at a store view level, which lets you keep the extension enabled for some stores while disabled for the others.

• Go to Customers > Manage Customers.
• Select the customer you want add custom prices to and click on the row or the edit link on the row.

• On the left menu, click Customer product price.

• Select the products you want to give the customer a different price and click on Add Selected Product(s) button. Doing this will add the product to a customizable grid where you can specify product price for the particular customer as shown in the image.

• Specify the price for the product in the Customer Price column of the grid in the respective row and save the customer.

• For Simple, Virtual and Downloadable Products select and add the product, specify the price and save.
• For Configurable products, select the configurable product and specify a new price. This will be the base price for all the associated products of the configurable product.
• For Bundle products, both the base price of the main bundle product and the prices of the associated bundle items can be changed.
• For Grouped products, the price of each applicable associated product needs to be changed. Only the products with modified price will show the change and the rest will remain the same.
