Introduction

Premium Tablerates extension is an advanced table rates extensions that allows the store owner to provide customised shipping options based on destination, weight, qty, price and shipping method. The rates can be defined in the csv file and unlike the standard Tablerates extension in Magento 2, this extension displays multiple shipping options that match the customer's details. The extension also allows the store owner to define algorithms for price calculation and shipping method availability such as shipping price based on weight, minimum price for shipping method display etc.

• Specify muliple countries separated by a comma(,) on a single row in the csv.
• Specify muliple regions/states separated by a comma(,) on a single row in the csv.
• Configure to calculate rates on tax inclusive or tax exclusive prices.
• Configure packing weight (a fixed weight to be added to the total weight of the package).

Installation

Web Setup Wizard

Unpack extension files: Log in to our website. Download the Base Extension. Unpack the Base extension file downloaded from our site and upload the contents of the file to the root directory of your magento installation. Unpack the purchased extension file downloaded from our site and upload the contents of the file to the root directory of your magento installation.
Go to System > Web Setup Wizard.
Select component manager to install the extension.
Enable Modules: Click on Select link on the Base Extension row(Module Name: HS_All). Click the Enable button on the menu that pops up. Next, click on the Select link on the row corresponding to the extension you downloaded (Module Name: HS_PremiumRate).
Step 1: Readiness Check Click on the button Start Readiness Check to check you are running Magento on a compatible environment. Click Next upon completion of previous step.
Step 2: Create Backup Create a backup before you install the extension, by selecting the checkboxes against the Backup Options and clicking the button Create Backup. Click Next, upon completion.
Step 3: Enable Module Click on the button Enable.
You will see this page as your module installation is in progress. You can check for errors in the Console Log.
Module installtion complete.

Configuration

Go to Stores > Settings > Configuration > Sales > Shipping Methods. Open tab Hungersoft Premium Tablerates.

General

Enabled: Select Yes/No to Enable/Disable the shipping method respectively. This can be configured at a store view level if you have a mutlistore setup. Title: This will be the title of the shipping method when the shipping method is displayed in the frontend. Condition: Select one of the two conditions available: Standard: This will use value specified in the Weight attribute of a product. Volume Weight: This will use the value specified in the Volume attribute of a product. Postcode Matching: Select the postcode matching algorithm. There are 6 options available: Numeric Range: Use this for numeric postcodes (example: 40096, 90021,...). You can specify range in the csv. Pattern Matching: Use this to match non-numeric postcodes (example: PO1 3AX,...) UK: Use this for UK specific postcodes. UK and Numeric: This will match UK postcodes and numeric postcodes. Canada: Use this for Canada specific postcodes. Canada and Numeric: This will match Canada and numeric postcodes. Postcode Max Length: Strips longer postcodes to the specified length. Calculate using tax inclusive prices: Select Yes to calculate shipping on tax inclusive prices. Select No otherwise. Calculate using discounted prices: Select Yes to calculate shipping on discounted prices. Select No otherwise. Include Virtual Products in Price Calculation: By default, virtual products aren't included in shipping price calcualtion. Select Yes to calculate shipping including virtual product prices. Select No otherwise. Remove free product prices from shipping calculation: Select Yes to calculate shipping exlcuding the prices of the products that have free shipping applied. Select No otherwise. Free Method: The values in this dropdown will depend on the csv imported, the values shown here will be the shipping methods configured using the csv. Select the method which you want to be used as free method. Free Shipping Display Text: Enter the text you want to be displayed as the method name for free shipping method. Apply Free Shipping to Lowest Price Method: Select Yes to make the lowest priced shipping method as free. Select No otherwise. Use Higher of Weight/Volume: Select Yes to use the higher of product's weight and volume attributes to match with the weight defined in the csv. Select No otherwise. Packing Weight: Enter the additional weight to add to the entire order as packing weight. Shipping price will be calculated by adding this weight to the entire order weight. Always Use Actual Weight for These Methods: This is only applicable when you have Higher of Weight/Volume enabled. This will use weight and will never use volume for the shipping methods selected. The values displayed here will be fetched from the csv imported. Calculate Handling Fee: Add a fee to the calculated shipping cost. There are 2 options available: Fixed: Adds a fixed price to the calculated shipping price. Percent: Adds a certain percentage specified from the calculated shipping price as handling fee. Handling Fee: Fee to be added as a fixed or percentage to the calculated shipping price. User Defined Codes: Select Yes to use user defined codes. Select No otherwise. Displayed Error Message: Enter the error message that should be displayed when the shipping method is unavailble. Ship to Applicable countries: Select All Allowed Countries to ship using this method to all allowed countries. Select Specific Countries to display the shipping method only to the selected countries. Ship to Specific Countries: This element will be enabled only when you choose to ship to Specific Countries against Ship to Applicable Countries setting. Select the countries in which you want this method available. Show Method if Not Applicable: Select Yes to show this method even when it is not available. Select No otherwise. Sort Order: Enter the order in which this method should be displayed.
